Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], February 21:<\/strong> Techknowgreen\u00a0Solutions Limited(BSE:\u00a0543991),\u00a0one of India\u2019s leading environmental consulting\u00a0companies\u00a0announced receiving\u00a0a new\u00a0work order\u00a0for \u201cEvaluation of Air Quality in different indoor Environments in Mumbai\u00a0Metropolitan Region (MMR).<\/p>\n

Representing Maharashtra State, with a particular focus on Non-Attainment Areas and critically impacted regions, the study aims to formulate Best Practices for enhancing Indoor Air Quality (IAQ)\u00a0with a contract period of 15 months from the date of LOA.<\/p>\n

The study extends to assessing\u00a0various types of indoor spaces such as schools, cinema halls, restaurants, shopping malls, offices, residential units, local trains\/buses, and\u00a0other\u00a0critically impacted areas\u00a0that have significant human exposure potential to air pollution indoors\u00a0& devising strategies that could mitigate risks \/ vulnerability in broader terms.<\/p>\n

Objectives\u00a0Of The Proposed Study\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Phase I: <\/p>\n

\u2022 Assessing AQ status in selected indoor micro-environments.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Identifying major sources in selected indoor environment. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Phase II: \u2022 Empirical assessment of health risk due to exposure.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Elemental receptor modeling for assessment of health risk parameters. \u00a0 <\/p>\n

Phase III: <\/p>\n

\u2022 Evaluation of interventions and formulation of best practices for breathable air quality. \u00a0<\/p>\n

Phase IV: <\/p>\n

\u2022 Planning a longitudinal study for better understanding of IAQ and health dynamics. \u00a0<\/p>\n
